1 · About these terms
These terms apply to your use of miqatlive.com and its language versions (“MiqatLive”, “we”). MiqatLive is operated by Faizaan e Ali Saeed (see Legal notice). By using MiqatLive you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2 · The service
MiqatLive provides calculated prayer times, the Qibla direction and related information, free of charge and without an account. We may add, change or remove features at any time. New sections are published only after they are reviewed.
3 · Religious guidance
Prayer times and the Qibla direction are calculated with published astronomical methods and the settings commonly used in each country. Your local masjid or religious authority may use different settings or add a safety margin. For jamaat times, Ramadan and Eid, follow your masjid and the official announcement in your country. MiqatLive does not issue fatwas. See the Disclaimer.
4 · Using MiqatLive
You may use MiqatLive for personal, non-commercial purposes and share links to it freely. You agree not to:
- copy, scrape or download content or timetables in bulk, or use automated tools that place a heavy load on the site, except as allowed by our robots.txt;
- republish our timetables, texts or design as your own or in a competing service without written permission;
- interfere with the security or operation of the site, or try to access systems you are not authorised to use;
- use the site for anything unlawful or to send false or abusive reports.
Masjids and organisations that want to show MiqatLive times on a screen or website can ask us for permission via the contact page.
5 · Our content
The design, text, graphics, logo, calculations and software of MiqatLive are protected by copyright and other rights and belong to the operator or our licensors. Third-party material, such as open-source software and data sources, is used under its own licence and credited on our sources and methodology pages.
6 · Reports and messages you send
When you report a time or send feedback, you allow us to use the information to check and improve MiqatLive. We do not publish your name or contact details. Please send only information that is accurate and that you are allowed to share.
7 · Links to other websites
MiqatLive may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
8 · Availability
We work to keep MiqatLive available and correct, but we cannot guarantee that it is always available, error-free or uninterrupted. We may suspend parts of the site for maintenance.
9 · Liability
MiqatLive is provided free of charge and “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, the information on the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body or health.
10 · Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If you keep using MiqatLive after a change, the new terms apply.
11 · Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
